The Acting Administration of NBU has been Put Into Operation to Ukrprombank

On January, 21, the National Bank of Ukraine has put into operation its acting administration to Ukrprombank. The acting administrator is Olexandr Maydanyuk. The aims of the acting administration are depositors and creditors protection, capital and assets safe keeping, business activity stabilization, financial condition improvement.

Ukrprombank's activity by the end of 2008 is profitable. Ukrprombank maintains a service of business accounts of numerous public institutions, thousands of natural persons, plentiful card accounts, legal entities, provides salary projects. Bank is a creditor of leading Ukrainian enterprises, an authorized bank of Pension Fund of Ukraine concerning pensions and pecuniary aid payment in all regions of Ukraine, it has been carrying out a profitable activity during all its history and on the whole plays a significant role on financial market of Ukraine.

As of January 1, 2009, the assets of the bank amounted to UAH 16, 000.4 mio.; the credit and investment portfolio amounted to UAH 12, 643.9 mio.; regulative capital of the bank amounted to UAH 1, 699.3 mio., the deposits of natural persons amounted to UAH 7, 900.8 mio.; the deposits of legal entities amounted to UAH 2,044.2 mio.
